- Hands-free travel: connected between the safety rope and the chest or back attachment point of the harness, the arrester moves freely along the rope with the user and needs no manual intervention in normal use; the built-in locking function can secure the device on the rope to reduce the fall distance.
- Arrests a fall: in a fall or sudden acceleration the device brakes on the rope and stops the descent.
- Connection arm prevents the device from dropping off when passing an intermediate point; the arrester can be combined with an energy absorber lanyard to keep the rope at a distance from the working surface.
